Self-Pay Collector job in Chandler, AZ
Our client located in Chandler is currently seeking strong Accounts Receivable candidates to join their billing team. As a Self-Pay Collector you would be responsible for outbound calls to patients regarding past due balances. This is not an aggressive collections position and strong customer service skills will be a huge asset. This is an important role to help the company maintain profitability and is an excellent opportunity for you to expand your billing career!
As a self pay collector, you will:
-Confirm the receipt of statements
-Use your insurance verifications experience to verify correct coverage
-Verify proper coding and billing
-Make payment arrangements
-Make outbound customer service calls
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
-At least 1 year of medical collecting experience
-An understanding of EOBs and insurance verifications
-A high school diploma or its equivalent
